Job Description
Looking for a new opportunity in the Mankato area? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading medical device manufacturing company in North Mankato, MN. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on the 2nd shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $16.75 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What a Machine Operator will do:
What a Machine Operator will do:
- Package all containers in the proper labeled cartons as instructed by the work order, while maintaining a high degree of integrity
- Check cap torques and weights as specified by the work orders
- Label each filled pallet of finished products to facilitate organized storage of finished goods inventory
- Assist in the operation of filling equipment
- Follow and complete work orders to correctly package the product
- Operate packaging equipment
- Comply with GMPs and ISO standards
- Perform various quality inspections necessary for production
- Apply a continuous improvement approach to the packaging area
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of materials, machines, tools, and production steps
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, plans and interdepartmental relationships
- Basic computer and proficient math skills
- Excellent organizational and team skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically with or without reasonable accommodations #WEjobhunt
