Job Description
Bring your machining skills to this new role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local warehouse for this exciting employment opportunity located in Long Prairie, MN. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on the 2nd shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities ranges between $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience. Interested? What you’ll do as a Machine Operator:
- Operate equipment and assist with product movement, tracking, and rotation
- Stock and supply assigned lines; ensure cleanliness of assigned area
- Assist with product movement in warehouse operations
- Receive, process, and intake materials as needed for assigned area of operations
- Assure quality and safety standards are adhered to
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related experience in a food grade facility, preferrable with dry goods and high-speed packaging
- Ability to solve practical problems and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Knowledge and understanding of basic math skills including weight calculations, averages, and percentages
- Ability to read and write in English
