What you will do as a Machine Operator:
- Precision drilling and tapping, sawing, cutting, and shaping steel, and/or milling flat stock
- Monitor work being completed to ensure accurate measurements
- Make small adjustments to machines using the keypad on the control panel to correct issues as needed
- Use overhead crane, forklift, or other lifting devices as required
What you need to be a Machine Operator:
- Ability to stand for a full shift while operating equipment with or without reasonable accommodations
- Experience or post-secondary education in CNC programming or equipment operation
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret work orders and/or prints
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
