We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on 12-hour shifts. What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:

What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:
- Operate various bindery equipment, including but not limited to, folding machines, collators, saddle stitchers, and perfect binders
- Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications, ensuring proper alignment, paper selection, and finishing requirements
- Monitor the production process to ensure the quality of finished products, including proper trimming, folding, and binding
- Perform regular quality checks to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Perform routine maintenance on bindery equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and address minor mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Review work orders and job tickets to understand job specifications, finishing requirements, and delivery expectations
- Coordinate with other team members, including press operators and pre-press staff, to ensure seamless production flow and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, reporting any safety concerns or incidents promptly
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or similar role in a printing or finishing environment
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting various bindery equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in the finished products
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and maintain bindery machinery
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to meet production goals
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), and perform repetitive tasks with or without reasonable accommodations #Metrojobs
