Job Description

What you will do as a MIG/TIG Welder:
What you will do as a MIG/TIG Welder:
- Perform MIG or TIG welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead) based on experience level
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and parameters
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications
- Inspect welded parts to ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of vocational training; or 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations #NewCareerByDoherty
