We are seeking candidates for Line Operator roles on the 1st shift, from 6:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Compensation for these temp opportunities is $18.15 per hour. Interested? What a Line Operator will do:
- Tend spoolers for continuous operation
- Perform the setup operation
- Determine which spooler to use for existing orders
- Adjust the level wind when needed
- Dispense spools into the hopper loader
- Check the supply spool for the correct line after each line change
- Position supply spools on tubs
- Check for proper weights for each size run
- Return empty supply spools to pallets
- Maintain proper speeds on the elevators
- Enter the completed data into the computer
- Stage product for the final step in the process
What you need to be a Line Operator:
- High school diploma or GED, or 1+ months of related experience and/or training
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations using units of weight measurement
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #WEjobhunt
