What a Laser Etching Machine Operator will do:
- Operate laser engraving machines for precise labeling and graphic application primarily on metal components for the medical and dental industries
- Configure and adjust machine settings to optimize performance
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain high-quality output
- Inspect completed items for defects, ensuring compliance with specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe workspace
- Basic math for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles
- Strong attention to detail – crucial for performing quality inspections
- Ability to use precision tools like micrometers
