Job Description
Looking for a 2nd shift role? Don’t miss out on this opportunity! Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading supplier in the fishing industry located in Spirit Lake, IA. We are seeking candidates for Janitor roles on the 2nd shift, from 12:00pm-8:00pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation for these temp opportunities is $20.21 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information! What a Janitor will do:
- Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors
- Vacuum and clean carpet
- Remove and dispose of trash and litter
- Clean furniture
- Use proper cleansers and machinery safely and appropriately
- Provide supplies for restrooms and other areas as needed throughout the facility
- Perform minor maintenance repairs or notify appropriate individuals of mechanical problems, malfunctions, and needed repairs
- Resolve questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to work under minimal supervision on duties and tasks that are varied
- Ability to apply common sense, understand, and carry out detailed verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be MRV certified #WEjobhunt
