Looking for work in the Mankato area? Look no further! Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a food production company located in Mankato, MN. We are seeking candidates for HRIS Benefits Specialist roles. Hours for this role are 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with evening support as needed for orientation, open enrollment, and some weekend events (Christmas parties, golf outings, community events, etc.). What you will do as a HRIS Benefits Specialist:
What you will do as a HRIS Benefits Specialist:
- Assist with Benefits Administration, including payment and reconciling billings, enrollment of team members, preparation of communication materials
- Assist with HRIS Administration (UKG Workforce Ready), including training of new team members, maintenance/changes to the system, and more
- Assist with company-wide communications
- Coordinate of company-wide activities
- Update and manage the company store
- Serve as a backup to plant HR managers as needed
- Previous knowledge of HRIS systems
- Knowledge of UKG Workforce Ready is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
- Comfortable working in office environment inside manufacturing plant; plant environment subject to temperature swings, climbing stairs, and movement throughout a plant setting
- Able to walk long distances for plant meetings and/or climb stairs
- Ability to travel to multiple facilities in Southern Minnesota; travel outside of Minnesota may be required but will be rare
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, training, benefits, or HRIS preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Benefits, Human Resources, or Human Resources Information Systems
