What you will do as the HR Assistant:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance reviews
- Assist with the recruitment process, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
- Organize and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring they are properly introduced to the company and its processes
- Assist with payroll processing, including tracking employee hours, benefits, and deductions
- Answer employee questions about benefits, assist with enrollment, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and other legal requirements
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing correspondence
What you need to be the HR Assistant:
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, HR staff, and other departments
- Ability to identify and resolve employee issues and questions
