What you’ll do as a Grinder Operator:
- Set up and operate standard manufacturing equipment
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation, including entering paperwork into Epicor
- Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set up, take apart, troubleshoot, and operate equipment
- Deburr, buff, or polish materials to specification
- Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure that the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications
- Interact with Epicor to understand and interpret job orders
What you need to be a Grinder Operator:
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced
- Accuracy and timeliness in the completion of work assignments are a must
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
