What you’ll do as a Grinder:
- Setup and operate standard manufacturing equipment
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor
- Maintain and operate hand tools necessary to set up, take apart, troubleshoot, and operate equipment
- Deburr, buff, or polish materials to specification
- Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications
- Understand the job orders and interact with Epicor
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced
- Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English #NEjobhunt
