What a General Laborer will do:

What a General Laborer will do:
- Operate automatic block-making machines, including starting/stopping, filling molds, and stripping finished blocks
- Assist with mixing raw materials for concrete production, including weighing and combining ingredients
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed, including cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining the block machine
- Inspect finished blocks for quality and ensuring they meet specifications
- Guide hoist to transfer pallets loaded with blocks to curing racks
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, including reporting hazardous conditions
- Depending on the role, may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving blocks
- Work collaboratively with other members of the production team
- Assist with production planning, including preparing molds for production runs
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and coordinating shipments of finished blocks
- No previous experience required
- Ability to lift 5- 45 lbs.
- Able to work a labor job that requires constant activity during the shift
