What a Screener will do:

What a Screener will do:
- Use spline and rolled screen for insertion into an assembled screen frame for final finished product
- Periodically check completed products to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company policies
- Maintain the flow of materials and products between production stages
- Monitor production for inconsistencies and promptly report concerns to the supervisor
- Identify and resolve minor production issues, escalating significant problems as needed
- Keep tools, equipment, and workstations in good working order
- Alert materials handlers when supplies or replacements are needed
- Participate in a collaborative work environment, utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross-train
- Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture
- Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification and 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience in the Window/Door manufacturing arena preferred
- Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- May be requested to travel and assist at other locations
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at a consistent pace
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to assemble products and operate machinery accurately
