What you’ll do as the Front-End Maintainer:
- Inspect, upend, and load coils onto the unwinder and feed coils into the press
- Set up, maintain, and operate machinery
- Inspect, monitor, and enter specifications into the computer
- Perform visual checks to ensure that the process is in compliance with the requirements
- Complete the required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and machines
- Practice proper safety procedures
What you need to be the Front-End Maintainer:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Advanced mechanical skills
- Ability to use precision measuring devices
- Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process, equipment, and quality specifications
- Demonstrated involvement in safety and knowledge of safety regulations
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, gauges, tools, and equipment
- Ability to safely operate a production forklift #NEjobhunt
