Front Desk Receptionist - 1st Shift
Job Description
What you will do as a Front Desk Receptionist:
- Greet and welcome guests
- Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the proper area
- Answer questions and address complaints
- Keep the front desk area and lobby tidy and organized
- Receive mail (invoices, packages, etc.)
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels, etc.
- Check, sort, and forward emails and voicemails
- Enter invoices, collect payments, and close out payments in QuickBooks
- Contacting customers when orders are ready
- Prepare service orders for smaller repair requests
- Direct drop-offs for larger orders (ex: directing customers on location to drop off trailers or boats
- Keep updated records and files
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience as a front desk representative, agent or relevant position
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g., fax, printer etc.)
- Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation is a must
