What the Forklift Operator will do:
What the Forklift Operator will do:
- Safely operate equipment as stated by company GMPs and Safety protocols
- Assist in set up and control of FEFO/FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials
- Model loads and paperwork handling best practices
- Train/mentor new hires as assigned by Supervisors
- Make sure production has the correct packaging for the day
- Keep accurate count of finished product
- Verify product is properly labeled with date code, pallet number, state, on hold, etc.
- Submit daily counts to the office at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety
- 1-3 years of Warehouse/Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
- Required to operate a sit-down forklift for entire shift
- Periodic standing on hard surfaces required
- Able to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable with working in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors #CSBJobs
