Job Description
Looking for a great paying position in the Alexandria area? Doherty Staffing is partnering with a leading food production company in the Alexandria, MN area. We are seeking candidates for Filler Operator roles to work 12-hour night shifts. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $20.00-$26.25 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you will do as a Filler Operator:
- Coordinate, set up, CIP (Clean-in-Place), swap testing, monitor, and operate filling machines to maximize product quality and departmental efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, keeping supplies and liquids stocked, and ensuring audit readiness at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on filling machines, collaborating with Maintenance and Management
- Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as needed
- Perform various quality checks, including weight, machine, sterility, and package integrity checks, to ensure standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties with equipment
- Accurately prepare and complete all required area paperwork with legible handwriting, adhering to FDA requirements
- Collaborate with Management to monitor operational efficiencies, yields, scrap loss, and other key indicators, seeking ways to improve plant productivity
What you need to be a Filler Operator:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and move heavy barrels occasionally in excess of 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to go up and down stairways repeatedly throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodations
- Basic math and mechanical skills
- Must follow all GMPs and safety procedures
