Job Description

We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. This company is hiring Feed Mill Operators on the 1st shift, from 6:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. What you will do as a Feed Mill Operator:
What you will do as a Feed Mill Operator:
- Operate machines to produce mash to established quality guidelines
- Perform micron and moisture tests
- Make necessary adjustments to grinding process equipment to obtain acceptable quality
- Operate load out equipment to properly load trucks in the most efficient manner
- Perform and monitor proper documentation of the batching, grinding, and loadout process
- Follow sequencing of feed as defined by quality guidelines posted in the batching room
- Maintain proper greasing of equipment and document when maintenance is performed
- Responsible for proper feed and load-out scheduling
- Responsible for proper bin management and utilization
- Troubleshoot and make minor repairs and make the decision to summon additional help for repairs
- Knowledge of machine operations
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be comfortable using computers
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
