What a Facility Maintenance Technician will do:
- Maintain assigned work areas at the highest possible cleanliness and organized level
- Maintain a high level of personal and environmental safety
- Perform routine and general maintenance on plant equipment
- Weld and install equipment following safety protocol and instructions
- Complete work orders in order of priority and production needs
- Ensure all assigned paperwork is completed accurately and daily
- Operate forklift and skid loader safely
- Maintain and promote communication between all departments and management
What you need to be a Facility Maintenance Technician:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3+ years of related work experience
- Ability to communicate with customers clearly and concisely, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Welding, drill press, and hand tool proficiency
- Mechanical troubleshooting with keen attention to detail
- Diligence to ensure safety and compliance
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
