What a Fabricator will do:
- Use machine and hand tools to make components for larger, customized products
- Grind, drill, and cut materials
- Confirm that all the components are fitted properly, aligned, and screwed in
- Ensure that quality control standards are met
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is required
- Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of materials and inventory
- Willingness and desire to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Steel-toe shoes are required
