We are seeking candidates for an Events & Retail Manager role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $100,000-200,000, depending on skills, experience and bonus. Interested? What an Events & Retail Manager will do:    
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members
  • In-field coaching
  • Manage department calendar - includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for events
  • Oversee participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities
  • Expense and P&L management of Events & Showroom; control spend within budget
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR & Finance
  • Communicate results and strategy with management
What you need to be an Events & Retail Manager:  
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
  • 3+ years of experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage resources (time & budget) to achieve objectives
  • Ability to analyze effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programs
  • Ability to understand role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising
  • Demonstrated ability with MS Office suite
