We are seeking candidates for Equipment Technician roles to work 12-hour night shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week including weekends. What you will do as the Equipment Technician:

What you will do as the Equipment Technician:
- Identify and report unsafe conditions including injuries and property damage
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and safety checks; troubleshoot basic mechanical breakdowns
- Use hand tools effectively to maintain, set up and repair equipment; adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
- Identify issues and perform repairs quickly
- Set up, maintain, adjust, and troubleshoot all production equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Document all mechanical activities
- Assist in training new mechanics when required on set-up and operation of equipment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of previous experience with mechanical troubleshooting experience on automated manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and write English and understand oral and written communications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read, understand, and execute job set-up instructions
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #metrocareers
