Job Description
We are seeking an Equipment Technician to join our day shift team. This role is integral to maintaining production capabilities and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and adjust offline, auxiliary bindery/finishing equipment, and web presses.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, belt tension adjustments, knife grinding, and part replacements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders to prevent equipment downtime.
- Strong knowledge of small/light equipment and machinery operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions without readily available manuals.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics and instruction manuals.
- Skilled in diagnosing issues using appropriate tools and test equipment.
- Compensation: $19.50 to $28.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
