What you will do as an Entry-level Frame Welder:

What you will do as an Entry-level Frame Welder:
- Perform routine and repetitive MIG arc welding operations
- Operate welding equipment, adjusting current, voltage, gas, and feed rate for proper metal fusion
- Plan and layout welding sequence based on drawings, blueprints, or specifications
- Layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using tools like rules, squares, scribes, or templates
- Ensure proper clamping of parts in alignment with specifications or drawings
- Position and secure pieces to be welded using jigs, guides, and measuring instruments
- Apply custom fabrication skills for moderately complex orders after a training period
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to documented safety guidelines
- Support the company’s quality and customer service strategy in the commercial door and hardware industry
- MIG welding experience or the ability to operate welding equipment effectively
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with measuring instruments, portable power, and hand tools
- Custom fabrication skills or willingness to develop these through training
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while supporting team goals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow company procedures
