Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead our clients Maintenance, Machine, and Tooling shops. This role ensures all production equipment and tooling meet production capabilities and requirements efficiently, consistently, and safely in alignment with company objectives. A champion of continuous improvement, this position promotes a “Lean” philosophy, demonstrating respect and engagement with coworkers to foster quality and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance plans for production assets and facilities.
- Assess current machine and tool capabilities, proposing upgrades or process improvements using Lean techniques, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Zero Failure Analysis (ZFA).
- Oversee installation and start-up of new equipment, adhering to safety standards, SOPs, and internal procedures.
- Manage the production of tooling and spare parts, balancing cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain all maintenance and machine shop technical information, software, and vendor records, providing weekly progress updates and maintenance logs.
- Supervise, train, and provide feedback to the team, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to budgeting and financial planning by tracking expenses and performing cost-benefit analyses.
- Provide additional support to management as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing maintenance, machine shop, and engineering teams.
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, CNC machinery, Lean manufacturing, RCM, and compliance with ISO and HSE standards.
- Proficiency in equipment and design procedures, CNC machines, Master CAM, and SolidWorks.
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
