Engineering Manager - Direct Hire
Job Description
What an Engineering Manager will do:
- Support manufacturing by resolving engineering, equipment, process, and component issues
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve time management and overall process efficiencies
- Generate the documentation and training needed to define the needed process changes or improvements for the functional areas affected in accordance with the Quality Policy
- Responsible for training and supporting operators in generating machine programs and consistent programming techniques
- Lead, assist, and train engineers, technicians, and programmers in process engineering duties
- Lead, assist, and train assemblers in manufacturing processes
- Develop machine setup, operation, and maintenance work instructions for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Perform all process engineering functions associated with NPI, ECO and print release, including product routing flow and process requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or combination of college and related manufacturing; or 6+ years of process engineering experience
- Experience with SMT First Articles and SMT programming
- Experience in SMT/Through Hole circuit board assembly
- Experience working with CAD data, CircuitCAM software
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with Customers, all levels of Management, and Employees
- Manage multiple tasks, schedules, and projects in a fast-paced environment where priorities change constantly
- Strong PC skills and Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
