Job Description
Are you looking for a new opportunity in the utility auditing industry? Doherty Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leading design and consulting firm in Fargo, ND. We’re seeking candidates for a Utility Location Auditor role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $24.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Utility Location Auditor:

What you will do as a Utility Location Auditor:
- Build and maintain a working knowledge of federal, local and company compliances
- Verify and document federal, local and company compliances
- Complete inspection reports daily on a company provided iPad including Daily Reports, Pictures, Schedules, Time, and Expenses
- Work with detailed plans and procedures, tracking quantities and material, and verifying the accuracy of mapping and as-built documentation
- Inspect installation of natural gas pipeline activities including excavation, installation, and backfill/restoration
- Locate and flag gas and electric utilities
- Flag proposed electric and gas routes
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience performing utility locates (gas and electric)
- Proficiency in Ticket Management Systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of local 811 processes/laws
- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to perform work at multiple sites
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and random quarterly drug testing
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
