In this role, you'll help ensure the performance, quality, and reliability of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) through the development and execution of robust testing processes. - Develop and execute production test plans for printed circuit board assemblies.
- Design and build test fixtures, circuits, and process documentation.
- Write and maintain test scripts for automation and data collection.
- Work cross-functionally with Test, Engineering, and Production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Investigate root causes of test failures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in design reviews and assist in creating programs to verify product performance.
- Support and troubleshoot test equipment, interfaces, and test fixtures.
- Perform data analysis to improve yield, reduce test time, and cut costs.
- Create BOMs, schematics, and wiring diagrams as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in test engineering or a similar role.
- Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes, function generators, and electronic loads.
- Programming/debugging skills in PYTHON, .NET, or C/C++.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
