Looking for a new opportunity in the Alexandria area? Doherty Staffing is partnering with a leading food production company in the Alexandria, MN area. We are seeking candidates for Downline Operator roles to work 12-hour day shifts. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $22.50 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you will do as a Downline Operator:
What you will do as a Downline Operator:
- Monitor and fix faults as well as clearing any material jams in equipment
- Conduct required quality checks to assure standards are met
- Maintain clean and organized area around equipment
- Maintain communications within production team ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on all DE machines
- Support mechanics in appropriate maintenance activities
- Monitor raw material and supplies to ensure efficient production
- Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required
- Accurately prepare and maintain all area paperwork
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Demonstrated good decision-making skills, capable of evaluating situations and taking appropriate action
- Ability to maintain accurate operating logs and records
- Proficient in reading manuals and solving problems related to operations
- Solid work history with a proven track record of reliability and good attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Strong understanding of hygiene and quality assurance standards
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
