Don’t miss out on this direct hire job on 2nd shift with great pay! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Fairmont, MN. We are seeking candidates for Down Stream Technician (DST) positions on the 2nd shift, with a 2-2-3 work schedule. If hired, training will take place on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks before switching to the 2nd shift with a mentor. Compensation for this direct hire position is $20.00 per hour. Interested? What a Down Stream Technician will do:
What a Down Stream Technician will do:
- Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods
- Track the quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency
- Utilize standard operating procedures to package pipe to be delivered to customers
- Maintain a safe working environment that includes the consistent use of Personal Protection Equipment to ensure your safety
- Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and down-stream equipment set-up
- Practice continuous improvement which not only includes the line but also facility housekeeping
- Ability to learn and stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Dependable
- Able to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in fluctuating temperatures
- Full range of body motion
- Able to stand for 8-12 hours
- Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods #FairmontJobs
