What you will do as a Distro Pre-Assembler:
- Review and understand job orders
- Interact with Epicor by properly badging in and out of active job orders on the production floor
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to safely and properly operate the equipment and tools required to assemble the product.
- Understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork related to Pre-Assembly tasks
- Maintain and safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Perform and document required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machinery, and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced
- Ability to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English
- Ability to effectively use a tape-measure and perform simple mathematics.
- Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly
