Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges from $28.00-$32.00+ per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do as a Machine Technician:

What you will do as a Machine Technician:
- Assist Robotic System Build Technician and Assembly Team Leads with the assembly process of machines
- Verify that all parts are available for assembly
- Document assembly time on the timesheet; accurately record rework time on the timesheet
- Drill and tap holes, layout and install weld studs
- Assembles parts to machine frame
- Insert sub-assemblies into the main frame
- Install main electrical enclosures and J- boxes during the build process; install electrical panels into enclosures
- Properly run cables, and hoses neatly through cable trays and raceways
- Monitor customer’s specifications per the build sheet.
- Operate the forklift on the assembly floor (if certified)
- Assist with the training of new assembly floor employees
- Two-year Automated Packaging degree or equivalent experience
- Must have familiarity with Program Logic Controller (PLC) and RS Logics Series 5000
- Minimum of one year of experience as a packaging machinery assembler
- Must have experience in using various types of pneumatic and electrical tools, grinders, band saws, sanders, lifting and moving devises, saws and drills including an assortment of hand tools
- Possess required computer skills to navigate through Web Client, Composer, Navision, and Outlook
- Ability to use Solid Works to review drawings and determine any assembly issues with fit, form or function
- Ability to regularly lift 40 pounds; occasionally (with assistance) lift up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
