Customer Service Representative
Job Description
What you’ll do as a Customer Service Representative:
- Handle all customer requests, enter orders, and run daily reports
- Process cross docks
- Hold products and deal with customer rush shipments
- Verify inventory and notify customers of potential shortages
- Review receipts/outbound and charges that apply
- Process hold/release of inventory
- Research OS&Ds and create reports
- Post inbound and outbound orders
- Input orders on time to be shipped on pools
- Cut logs and adjustments
- Research customer requests
- Ensure electronic transactions are not failing
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- PC, leadership, and planning skills are helpful
- Experience in AS400, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
- Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred
