What a Custom Assembler will do:
- Verify parts to their assembly instructions and print
- Check every part for physical defect
- Identify the defective part for rework
- Package parts to ship without damage
- Check the correct quantities of all work orders
- Will correctly key and label parts
- Take part in monthly presentations and continuous improvement efforts
What you need to be a Custom Assembler:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read prints and a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must take responsibility for all parts coming through their work center
- Must be able to learn certain program functions
