What a Cord Cell Operator will do:
- Read calibrated measurement instruments and convert fractions to decimals
- Read blueprints and able to measure, cut, and assemble products based on prints
- Measure and cut ropes and cords
- Assemble ropes and cords into net structures
- Assemble 3D nets before shipment to ensure accuracy in parts
- Package parts to ship without damage
- Ensure accuracy of inventory by proper inspecting and labeling techniques
- Identify quality concerns and be able to repair them quickly
- Drive forklift to pull raw materials necessary for builds
What you need to be a Cord Cell Operator:
- GED or high school diploma
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Ability to learn new programs
- Must be able to read blueprints and calibrated measurements
- Must be able to work safely with power tools
- Ability to handle repetitive lifting while using proper lifting techniques daily up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work overhead, and stand up constantly throughout the day
