Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Conversion Operator Apprentice roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these opportunities is $21.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Conversion Operator Apprentice:

What you will do as a Conversion Operator Apprentice:
- Set up and run basic jobs with little or no assistance using press diagrams, videos, and work instructions
- Communicate rate deficiencies to management per prescribed procedures
- Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions, documenting results
- Accurately record entries in the computer time clock system
- Ensure accurate documentation of inspections
- Contribute positively to company safety, quality, and production goals
- Report unsafe working conditions to management
- Understand and accurately interpret prints
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Meet or exceed goals for quality, safety, on-time delivery, production efficiency, attendance, lean process improvement, and training
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to accurately understand and interpret basic prints
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot basic press issues
- Ability to escalate issues and ask for assistance when necessary
- Basic math skills
- Ability to speak, understand, and read English
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with paperwork
