What you’ll do as the Composite Technician:
- Perform lay-up and fabrication of composite fiberglass aircraft parts, including wings, fuselages, horizontals, and their accompanying components
- Utilize various types of resin-infused carbon fiber and fiberglass for major components and structures
- Read, interpret, and build from engineering and assembly drawings, process specifications, and manufacturing process instructions
- Perform hand fabrication of composite parts, tooling preparation and maintenance, cutting and trimming of various manufacturing materials, oven operation, and other manufacturing processes
What you need to be a Composite Technician:
- Good work history and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Previous experience in composite fiberglass fabrication preferred
- Ability to work well as part of a team, with attention to detail, dedication, and integrity
- Motivated by job security, growth opportunities, flexibility, self-starting, and goal completion
