Job Description
Work in the food industry in this great role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local warehouse for this exciting employment opportunity located in Long Prairie, MN. We are seeking candidates for Cheese Room Mixer roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $17.50 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information.
What you’ll do as a Cheese Room Mixer:
What you’ll do as a Cheese Room Mixer:
- Prep cheese staging area with pallets for every shift
- Maintain frequent communication with leadership to ensure they are made aware of all activity in the cheese room
- Maintain adequate GMP
- Monitor inventory of materials
- Verify lot codes and paperwork
- Oversee changeovers
- Maintain a clean work area
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders frequently
- Ability to sit, stand, twist, and bend with proper body mechanics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Should be comfortable operating and working around pallet jacks and forklifts
- Must be able to stand on concrete floor for 8+ hrs. a day
