We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Calibration Technician roles. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is between $20-$30 per hour.
What you will do as a Calibration Technician:

- Perform calibration, repair, and maintenance on a variety of measuring devices including electronic, torque, force, pressure, mass, and dimensional gages
- Calibrate dimensional, mechanical, and electronic instruments according to company standards and customer specifications
- Provide on-site calibration services, including travel to customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate calibration in the field
- Define calibration procedures and identify equipment requirements for both mechanical and electronic calibrations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot calibration issues, performing necessary repairs to maintain equipment functionality and precision
- Assist in cross-training across calibration types (mechanical, electronic, dimensional), expanding team capabilities and ensuring well-rounded expertise
- Train and mentor team members in calibration procedures and use of equipment to maintain high standards of performance and safety
- Strong aptitude in electronics, mechanics, and/or dimensional analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Hands-on experience with electronics calibration such as oscilloscopes, HiPot testers, counters, power supplies, meters, thermocouples, etc., using Fluke 5500/5520 calibrators
- Mechanical calibration experience in areas like torque, pressure, force, mass, and scales, or dimensional calibration experience including hard gaging, threads, CMM, optical comparators, and hand tools
