We are seeking candidates for CNC Operator roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for this temp-to-hire opportunity is $20.00-$25.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What a CNC Operator will do:
- Correctly and efficiently set up and tear down equipment in the work cell utilizing approved processes as well as aid in process development and improvement
- Monitor programs and make sure all programs are backed up on the network
- Participate in DOEs, cap studies, and process development
- Interpret SPC trends and study data from monitored processes
- Perform offsets, tool changes, and program changes in conjunction with the Engineering Team
- Identify and correct problems and troubleshoot difficult jobs
- Understand and act upon company goals
- Complete maintenance and tooling work order
- Provide direction and leadership when the supervisor is unavailable
- Work with the Engineering team on process development and new projects involving tooling, equipment, and new technology
- Responsible for contributing to the achievement of company goals
- Travel and customer interaction may be required
- Responsible for knowing and following all environmental, health, and safety rules, policies, and procedures for the work area
- Take responsibility to ensure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others
What you need to be a CNC Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in using CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, G-code, CAD/CAM software)
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Working knowledge of all equipment in the work cell
- Ability to diagnose a problem and react accordingly
- Must be skilled in reading prints and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
