What a CNC Machinist will do:

What a CNC Machinist will do:
- Review and interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings
- Set up and calibrate the CNC machinery for specific manufacturing tasks
- Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting issues for optimal operation
- Operate CNC machinery to produce parts as designed, adjusting as necessary to achieve desired specifications
- Inspect finished product to ensure conformity to specifications, using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Certificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly is preferred
- Recognized apprenticeship may be required
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
- Basis understanding of mathematics
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
