Job Description
Trade up your current position for this exciting opportunity! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Alexandria, MN. We are seeking candidates for CNC Machine Operator roles on the 3rd shift. Hours for this position are from 11:00pm-7:00am, Sunday through Thursday. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities ranges between $18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you will do as a CNC Machine Operator:
- Operate CNC machines and perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner in alignment with company policies
- Read and follow instructions on manufacturing orders and blueprints to ensure that components meet product and customer design specifications
- Perform quality inspections using precision measurement devices to ensure all parts meet specifications
- Use all measurement tools and hand tools accurately as required
- Perform tool and insert changes
- Assist with setup preparations and tear down processes
- Provide machine shop support; deburring, tumbling, packing, assembly, punching, bending, etc.
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning out chips, monitoring coolant levels, etc.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members and other shifts as needed to ensure efficient and successful completion of customer orders
- Troubleshoot machine errors and part variances and suggest improvements to improve quality
- Operate manual machining equipment
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to recognize safety concerns
- Highly motivated and a self-starter attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Willingness to take part in continuous training and education
