What you’ll do as a CNC Machine Operator:

What you’ll do as a CNC Machine Operator:
- Perform complex setups from programs on machines to ensure that completed parts conform to print and process specifications
- Determine program edits required to adjust speeds and feeds in order to machine parts properly and efficiently
- Inspect finished parts using c using microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers, or other equipment
- Make adjustments to machine off-sets to achieve required tolerances
- Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed in accordance with established procedures
- Perform routine maintenance
- Monitor manufacturing methods, processes, and procedures to ensure departmental goals are met
- Maintain and improve cost competitiveness including identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements
- Diploma in Computer Integrated Machining, or currently enrolled in a program
- 1+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
- Knowledgeable in precision measuring tools use
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering prints and machining documentation and processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, CNC, and other software
- Ability to understand and implement AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
