What a CNC Machine Operator will do:
What a CNC Machine Operator will do:
- Load and unload parts directly in the machine or via pallet changers
- Adjust machine settings based on part necessity
- Run multiple machines/processes at the same time
- Operate other various machines such as Blanchard, lap master, polisher, CNC basic operation, hand lap, ultrasonic, bevel, belt sander, and more as assigned
- Ensure parts are cleaned and ready for the following operations
- Ensure parts meet quality specifications before going to the next operation
- Perform minor troubleshooting of machines
- Ensure calibration of inspection equipment is up to date
- Follow Glass Handling guidelines
- Perform and record quality control measurements with various tools
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing and mechanical experience
- Knowledge of basic machine operation, tools, and measurement devices
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work with small parts and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
