What a CAD Drafter will do:
- Create detailed technical drawings of post-frame buildings aligning precisely with customer specifications and industry standards
- Prepare construction drawings, shop orders, and bill of materials
- Coordinate schedules to meet customer, purchasing, manufacturing and construction needs
- Degree in Computer Aided Design or Construction-related field
- Experience using AutoCAD software
- 2+ years of Drafting or work-related experience
- Experience with estimating is a plus
- Excellent attention to technical detail and thoroughness is critical
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Must be highly motivated and the ability to work as a team player
