Job Description

We are seeking candidates for CAD Designer roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $22.00-$34.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? - Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (such as AutoCAD and Inventor) to generate 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and elevations based on design requirements and specifications provided by engineers and design team
- Collaborate closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and Design Engineers to understand design intent and incorporate necessary modifications into drawings
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on manufacturability, feasibility, and potential improvements to design
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines
- Perform thorough quality checks on drawings to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Estimating, and Project Management to address queries and clarify design specifications
- Work within established project timelines to ensure that drawings are completed and delivered according to project schedules
- Possess a strong understanding of stainless-steel sheet metal properties and fabrication processes
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Ability to review and interpret architectural drawings
- Ability to read and understand written specs provided by customers
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes, regulations, and standards
