Break Line Operator - 1st Shift
Job Description
What the Break Line Operator will do:
- Load and unload cartons of eggs from flats onto the production line
- Identify leaks, blood spots, and imperfections on the eggs through a process called “candling”
- Resolve any problems that may result from eggs that have become stuck on the end of the feeding line or in flats
- Replace removed eggs with clean eggs so that all spaces for eggs passing into the breaking operation are filled
- Operate the breaking machine at an average pace of 85% of the machine-rated speed
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 26 pounds continuously, and 55 pounds on occasion with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift with or without reasonable accommodations
- Strong attention to detail and an excellent attendance record
