Job Summary:
The Boiler Operator ensures the safe, efficient operation of boiler and refrigeration systems while supporting department personnel and fostering a safe work environment. Compensation for this opportunity is $33.00-$40.00 per hour.

- Short- and long-term disability coverage
- Operate and maintain boilers, refrigeration systems, and related equipment.
- Conduct routine water analysis and system maintenance.
- Respond to chemical spills and participate in the Emergency Response Team.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines.
- Use maintenance software to perform and document preventative maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to resolve issues.
- Train new employees and maintain safety standards.
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and downtime reduction efforts.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent education/training/experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years maintaining industrial utility systems (food processing preferred). Knowledge of electrical, welding, and pneumatics is a plus.
- Licenses/Certificates:
- Minnesota Boiler Class 1B or above (REQUIRED).
- Boiler, HVAC, and HAZMAT training (REQUIRED).
- Electrical license and HVAC/Ammonia certifications (preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance software (preferred).
- Forklift operation experience (preferred).
