Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Boat Prep Associate roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities ranges between $17.50-$20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as a Boat Prep Associate:
What you will do as a Boat Prep Associate:
- Carry various sizes of metal, wood, and carpet pieces to and from workstations
- Apply glue to metal, wood, and carpet pieces using an air gun
- Adhere carpet to metal and wood pieces using hands to compress, stretch, and pull carpet
- Trim excess carpet from metal and wood pieces using scissors and/or a utility knife
- Staple carpet to wooden pieces using a pneumatic stapler
- Preassembles hardware using an air rivet gun, bucker, or air drill
- Operate wood router and carpet cutter
- Install frames (both by screwing and adhesive)
- Sand wood and plastic and sealing seats
- Maintain a clean work area
- Pick aluminum parts and store them in proper locations around the plant
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow written and oral communication
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
